He has led sales campaign teams to wins in countries as varied as Japan, Oman and Poland. In his writings and talks he has become a thought leader in the specialized field of large complex sales.
Mike is a prolific speaker, writer and guest lecturer on international business, strategy, and sales process at Georgia Institute of Technology, and the University of Georgia. He received the 2010 Metro-Atlanta Global Impact Award for his advisory work helping Atlanta to attract and retain new business.
Mike served as an officer in the USAF and prior to that an aerospace engineer for the USN. He received his Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Engineering from Western Michigan University.

He assembled, trained and led integrated capture teams that harnessed the know-how of experts in engineering, manufacturing, law, industrial cooperation, public relations, and program management to routinely win large complex sales.
His winning record is global and includes personal responsibility for crafting and executing win strategies for major commercial and defense programs in the U.S., Canada, South America, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East and Europe.
He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs and a B.A. in political science and communication from William Jewell College.
